Francesca MacDonald is a storyteller, creative entrepreneur, and co-founder of HitZERØ, a platform where music, intention, and technology come together to support creativity and emotional connection.

Born in Venice, Italy, Francesca grew up surrounded by beauty, imagination, and a deep appreciation for both big ideas and small details. Her journey has taken her from studying Asian languages at Ca’ Foscari University to humanitarian work in Haiti, where she supported initiatives that provided education, meals, and shelter for children in need.

Francesca writes with a focus on presence, curiosity, and emotional awareness. She has contributed to a range of writing projects, including collaborative books with Brave Healer Productions. Her work is inspired in part by her two sons, who continue to shape her understanding of creativity, resilience, and what it means to grow without losing a sense of wonder. She believes that imagination is not something we grow out of, but something we grow into.

She is married to music producer and creative partner Michael MacDonald. Together, they have spent over two decades building projects at the intersection of art, sound, and human experience, guided by intuition, experimentation, and a shared belief in meaningful creation.

A polyglot and lifelong learner, Francesca draws inspiration from spirituality, storytelling, and the evolving relationship between technology and human potential. Her work reflects a balance of depth and lightness, grounded in the belief that joy and purpose can coexist.

Whillie: The Cart Who Found His Heart is her debut children’s book, written as a gentle invitation for readers of all ages to slow down, notice more, and remember that being enough is not something to earn, but something to return to.
